The electric car symbol for Amectran is the American Eagle insignia which symbolizes the elements that
protect life on our planet against deadly pollution. The brave Eagle leads the path of green growth... and wholesome fresh air
floats in the white banner while the circle of continuity of life creates the electronic hope for tomorrow - the Amectran electric
car.
The Black is an omen of perilous consequences.
This dynamic graphic statement is more - it is the mark of
a proud group of dedicated Americans...it is a statement of conviction and belief in the future of our country and a real electric
car...a future that presses forward the ideas of history to shed the yoke of dependence that has slowed our wheels of freedom.
We are proud to enter the 2010-11 as a part of this nation's inspired renewal of creative spirit...a spirit that will continue
to lead the world into brotherhood, human dignity and the protection of our planet by developing an electric car.
Edmond X. Ramirez, Sr. is the inventor of the EXAR-1 Electric Car; the "Worlds First
(Real) Production, Electronic Powered Automobile". In 1973 he began with the idea that an electric car must be designed with
not only an approach toward technically advance design, manufacturing, sales, distribution, repair and maintenance aspects, but also
to a totally new way of how the electric automobile should be viewed in relation to the environment. Amectran, acronym for AMerican
ECological TRANsportation, was the companies avatar, its very ethos, the integral concept that any new electric car must be one
with the environment, nature, and humankind...the EXAR-1 pictured above was the result; completed and tested repeatedly by the United
States Department of Transportation and emphatically recommed for purchase to the United States Senate, personally, by the
Secretary of Transportation.
During the early-70s the cry went out for development of an electric car...over
200 entities responded from all over the world. Of all those, only one is worth mentioning,
"Amectran Corporation"
Its inventor, Edmond X. Ramirez, Sr. did what no other electric car
developer had, or has done, in respect to making what could be considered a "real" electric car: He actually designed it as
the genisis for a totally new industry - a differentiation as great as that of the vaccum tube to the transistor...even today,
and for the near future - the EXAR-1 - "Everything Else is Obsolete"
